How do I submit my sales tax exemption?
  You pay sales tax only if your delivery address is located in Texas and you are not sales tax exempt. Orders being delivered outside the State of Texas are not assessed sales tax.

We will need to adjust your tax status BEFORE any orders are placed or tax will be assessed. If you have applied for, and have received Texas Sales Tax Exempt status, please email a copy to agrilifebookstore@tamu.edu . The Bookstore staff will need approximately one hour during workdays to complete all sales tax exemption and other status checks before you place an exempt order. We are unable to process exemptions over the weekend or holidays.

To verify tax status prior to submitting the copy, please visit the following site and enter the name or ID number of your organization: http://comptroller.texas.gov/taxinfo/exempt/exempt_search.html. If your organization shows exemption from sales tax, please feel free to submit a completed sales tax exemption certificate to our office. Our vendor name and address are Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Bookstore, 2113 TAMU, College Station, TX 77843-2113 for your convenience in completing the form.

Note: Texas public schools, city and county offices will not appear in the list but are sales tax exempt. Please call us at 979-985-5259 if you have questions.
What are my payment options?
  When you place your order online, you have multiple options for payment.
- We accept MasterCard and Visa and ship orders as soon as the card is processed successfully within our work schedule.
- We also accept Purchase Orders from domestic verifiable businesses, organizations and school districts but we must have a detailed hard copy emailed to us at agrilifebookstore@tamu.edu before we can ship. Your Purchase Order must include complete "bill to" and "ship to" addresses and have an allowance for shipping.

Please note: we cannot accept credit cards over the phone. All credit card orders must be placed online by the customer.

How do I create an account?
  We recommend you access our site with Google Chrome.

1)
Click the "My Account / Login/Register" link at the bottom of the page.
2) Enter your email address.
3) Select "I am a new customer".
4) Texas A&M AgriLife Extension personnel should show their company name as XXX County or XXX Program.

Then simply follow the prompts to complete setting up your account. If you are a Texas organization and need sales tax exemption status BEFORE placing an order, please see How do I submit my sales tax exemption? above.

When you place your first order, you will be given an opportunity to add a billing address. If you pay with a credit card, your billing address will need to be the same as where you receive your credit card statement. Your shipping address should be your physical delivery address, not a Post Office Box, as we use commercial carriers for most packages. Please note, we do not drop ship for commercial vendors. Shipping will be charged and must be included in payments for sold products.
How do I edit my account information?
  Click the "My Account / Manage My Account" link at the bottom of the page to edit your account information.
How much is my shipping?
  Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their prices.

Orders weighing less than 13 oz. travel via US Postal Service. All other orders typically travel via FedEx which is why a physical delivery address, instead of a PO Box, is required.

Deliveries to apartments or condominiums are attempted by all of our carriers; however, if no one is available to accept it, the package may be dropped at the complex office. Please check with your housing office if you are expecting a delivery.
How do I return my product?
  Please contact us at 979-985-5259 before returning a product for authorization and instructions on how and where to ship.
I received the wrong product.
  If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact customer service within 72 hours of receiving the product and let us know.  We will ship the correct item immediately and arrange for the return of the wrong item.  Our phone number is 979-985-5259.
What is your return policy?
  Please call us at 979-985-5259 before returning a product for authorization and instructions on how and where to ship.  Products may be returned within 30 days for a refund of the item purchase price if we receive them back in unused condition. Shipping is not refundable unless the problem was store error.
When will my order ship?
  After placing your order, you may click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the bottom of the page to track the status of your order. Most orders ship within 24 working hours. Our packages are picked up by the freight carriers around 2:00 PM each day, so mid to late afternoon orders will not ship until the following day. You will receive a confirmation email and tracking information will be available (check the MY ACCOUNT page for your order status) within 24 hours after shipment.

Please note that the Bookstore observes the same holidays as Texas A&M University. You may continue to place orders online during the holidays and they will ship upon our return.
