The Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory offers a wide range of state-of-the-art diagnostic tests for hundreds of species, including cattle, equine, dogs, cats and wildlife. Toxicosis occurs rapidly; as little as four grams of dried beetles may contain fatal levels of cantharidin. TVMDL was one of the first labs to diagnose cantharadin poisoning and to develop a test for the toxin.  2 pages, Spanish
