In cooking camps offered by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service and other agencies, children were taught basic cooking skills and healthy eating habits. They were also introduced to fun physical activities. At the end of camp, most of the children indicated that they would eat more fruit and milk products and would play outside more instead of watching TV or playing video games. 1 p.
